Call for papers--Plant-Microbe Interactions
  • Plant disease outbreaks have greatly reduced crop yields and significantly affect global food security in the recent years. Deep understanding of plant-microbe interactions is critical for developing novel strategies for disease control and reducing crop losses.

aBIOTECH is a new journal that publishes amazing, awesome, and advanced research in areas of biotechnology, agricultural sciences, plant biology, and other relevant biological sciences. We encourage submissions of technological advancements and fundamental findings that enable further innovations and discoveries.

Drs. Guo-Liang Wang, Wende Liu and Suomeng Dong are organizing a special issue on Plant-Microbe Interactions for aBIOTECH.

We would like to invite you to contribute a research or review article in the following areas:

Molecular basis of the interaction between plants and pathogens.

How the plant immune system orchestrates the interactions with beneficial microbes and pathogens.

Molecular mechanisms of regulating colonization, pathogen inhibition and induced systemic resistance by microbial interactions.

The reorganization, improvement and construction of plant beneficial microbes.

The influence of abiotic stresses on plant-microbe interactions

Role of phytohormones in plant disease resistance and susceptibility.

Novel molecular and genomic tools for the study of plant-microbe/microbiome interactions and engineering of broad-spectrum resistance.

Functions and molecular regulatory mechanisms of epigenetic modifications in defense responses against pathogens in plants.

Structure-function analysis of immune receptors and key signaling components

Novel function of pathogen effectors in the suppression of host immunity

     Emerging and re-emerging plant diseases.

One of the benefits of publishing with aBIOTECH is that aBIOTECH does not charge authors any fees and publication costs. Meanwhile, we will select several papers from this issue for open access (OA). Article processing charges (APCs) of chosen articles will be covered by aBIOTECH Editorial office.
