aBIOTECH: About the Journal
aBIOTECH is an international peer-reviewed journal published by Springer-Nature.
The “a” in aBIOTECH stand for agriculture – we are committed to publishing novel research at the forefront of agricultural biotechnology.
aBIOTECH was founded on three key principals:
(1) Innovation: we have created a forum for leading-edge research that offers new insight and challenges the status quo
(2) Immediacy: accepted papers are published immediately online to minimize the lag between groundbreaking research results and public dissemination
(3) Access: aBIOTECH supports open access for all and facilitates the exchange of ideas and materials—authors are encouraged to deposit data in open repositories and to distribute supporting materials.
Editorial Process
The editors of aBIOTECH are internationally recognized leaders in biotechnology and plant biology. As active scientists, the editors emphasize a data-driven approach to research—findings must be rigorously backed by data, which are then made available to all readers to inspire continued innovation and idea exchange.
